Like his brothers, Samuel had his friends come over too. I did it on the day of his Kindergarten’s Parents-Teacher-Conference. His kindergarten happened to be located just below our house, and therefore we did an “Open house” at our home for the children in his class, so the parents could leave their children at our home, and go meet with the teachers.
We had a total of fourteen children (including two siblings) who came, at different times. They were Isaac, Bryce, Reuben, Samuel Seah, Samuel Baey, Nathan Low, Nathan Willianto, Tobias, Sharmaine, Celestyn, Zechariah,Kayvin.
It was really amusing watching them talk and play with each other.
(I especially like the video from 1:40 – 2:05. Isaac is really cheeky! :))
Their conversations amaze me. They talked about ‘upgrade’s and ‘customise’. (“It is to make it even better, powerful” “It is to mix and match”). I suppose it is the language of a new generation.

Isaac, our first guest! |
Bryce, the second! |
It was also interesting watching their flow of play, from toys, to blowing balloons, to catching (which I stopped quickly), back to toys again.
Celestyn came soon after. |
Now we have Nathan Low and Nathan Wilianto too! |
Celestyn’s sister Estelle and Kaka came too! |
When Sharmaine came, they suddenly decided to play catching. Hmm… 🙂 |
That’s Samuel Seah in the right bottom corner. Nathan Low wanted to play Chess! Wow… |
They went on a balloon-blowing frenzy. I must have tied at least 20 balloons! |
Later Tobias and Reuben came too! Also in the picture is Zechariah’s brother – Caleb (so cute!) |
That’s Zech, playing with Bryce! |
The kids loved the baked chicken, and I was glad I managed to get the boys to eat their lunch although they were so excited. Being a parent of three boys has really trained me well!
The boy in checkers is Samuel Baey (the 3rd Samuel in the class!)
Sitting in the baby chair is his three-year old sister. She impressed me with her independence.
She scrambled onto the baby chair on her own, and asked for water for her brother and herself. |
The boys had lunch, while entertaining each other… |
Toby enjoyed the jelly we made! |
Yum! Yum! |
Another very interesting lunchtime conversation!
Thank you children! It was lovely having all of you with us!
